Elevating Youth Justice: Supporting Youth’s Behavioral and Mental Health
October was Mental Health Awareness month. As you may recall, in April, for Child Abuse Prevention month, we focused on the connection between child abuse/maltreatment, the resulting mental/behavioral outcomes, and the greater risk of justice system involvement.
Our guest presenter, John Izzo of the GA Department of Juvenile Justice, returned for Part 2 with a focus on youth behavioral/mental health and supports and services for our justice-involved youth.
